terre des hommes is working in the Turkish earthquake zone with the local partner organization 'support to life', which knows the situation on the ground and is taking care of the victims and the many distraught and traumatized children.
In Aleppo, Syria, terre des hommes also started with humanitarian aid. Millions of Syrian civil war refugees live in the entire region. They have been suffering from the civil war for twelve years and are forced to rely on international aid to survive anyway.
The supply situation is dramatic, and the full extent of the destruction can hardly yet be surveyed.
